Curator's Note — San Martin Guilloche Pearl Diver

Curator's Note

Just handled this at the Tokyo fair and it stopped me. The guilloche mother-of-pearl dial catches light like nothing else in this price range — four dial colors, each one deliberately finished. The Miyota 90S5 is a proper mechanical movement, 28,800 bph, 42 hours of reserve, the kind of caliber used in $800 watches. Screw-down crown, sapphire bezel with 120 clicks, 200m rated. This is a diver that respects the specification.
