Curator's Note — San Martin Tropical Diver Automatic

Just returned from the fair and this 40mm tropical diver caught our attention immediately. The 2025 upgrade shows serious attention to finishing — polished chamfered edges, proper H-link bracelet construction in 361L steel, and a compression-molded dial with genuine depth. The NH35 automatic is the workhorse movement that powers watches at twice the price. This is exactly what a $300 diver should be: no compromises on materials, no shortcuts on assembly.
